The paper DiSC profile was developed in the 1970s by Dr. John Geier, a psychologist at the University of Minnesota. He had studied Marston's theory of DiSC personality and decided to create a profile to accompany it.
Since then, then DiSC profile has been used by tens of millions of people, across many dozens of countries, and in 30-odd different languages. In this day and age, there is of course an online DiSC profile, but the paper version very popular with some trainers. It's an especially good choice for DiSC training when the participants don't have easy access to computers
